"pattern play" helps children to understand patterns as they create various patterns while playing. The pack includes 28 pattern cards, 7 design cards, 168 tiles in 2 shapes and 4 colours, spinner, plastic tray and a grid sheet. Children first copy and cover ‘design cards’ one-by-one with tiles of shapes and colours according to the spin of the spinner. Cards gradually progress in difficulty, helping children explore patterning, symmetry and sequencing. After copying the given patterns, they can create their own designs using the given coloured tiles to enhance their creativity, visual skills and spatial perception.
